Samantha Fernandez Hernandez, MD is a first year Neurology resident at Baylor College of Medicine in Houston, TX. She completed medical school in Mexico and after 2 years of clinical training in Houston, TX she worked as a Clinical Research Coordinator in the Neurosurgical Intensive Care Unit at Ben Taub General Hospital in Houston, TX, in several Traumatic Brain Injury NIH-funded protocols. Her research interests are Traumatic Brain Injury, Chronic Traumatic Encephalopathy and the neurocognitive sequela post-TBI, and she aspires to pursue a fellowship in Neurocritical Care.
