Dr. Jia Hwei Ng is a board-certified Nephrologist and an Assistant Professor at Zucker School of Medicine at Hofstra/Northwell. She completed her medical education at a joint Malaysia-Ireland medical school, Penang Medical College – Royal College of Surgeons in Ireland. After working as a medical officer in Malaysia for several years, she moved to the US to complete her Internal Medicine Residency at Crozer Chester Medical Center. She then completed her Nephrology fellowship training at the University of Pennsylvania. Professionally, her aspiration is to improve the lives of patients with kidney disease and their caregivers. She is interested in patient advocacy and patient-centered outcomes research. When she is not at work, she loves listening to audiobooks and spending time with her husband and two children.
