About

Cristina Zeretzke-Bien, M.D, FAAP, FAAEM is board-certified in general pediatrics and pediatric emergency medicine. She performed her internship of residency training at Tulane University in New Orleans, Louisiana and completed her pediatric residency at the University of Florida in Gainesville. She then completed her Fellowship training in pediatric emergency medicine at the University of Florida in Jacksonville. Dr. Zeretzke-Bien completed her medical degree at St. George's University School of Medicine in St. George, Grenada. She is currently the Medical Director of the SANE program at the University of Florida. Dr. Zeretzke-Bien is a Fellow of the American Academy of Pediatrics and is a Fellow of the American College of Emergency Physicians and the Society of Academic Emergency Medicine. She is passionate regarding improving children's services surrounding Pediatric Emergency Medicine, with a particular focus on the areas of injury prevention and child abuse. She serves as a board member for the Children's Advocacy Center.
