About

Onyeka Otugo is a Master in Public Administration candidate at the Harvard Kennedy School of Government and a Health Policy Research andTranslation fellow in Brigham and Women's Emergency Department with an interest in health policy and understanding the current disparities in our healthcare system. As a fellow, Dr. Otugo is studying racial and ethnic disparities and access to care issues. Onyeka grew up in the Washington, DC Metropolitan area where she also attended college at the University of Maryland majoring in Art Studio and Biology. Prior to attending medical school, she received a fellowship to conduct research at the Food and Drug Administration Office of Women’s Health where she assessed disparities related to the inclusion of women in clinical trials. She has been involved in key advocacy issues related to emergency medicine.
