Dr. Margaret Miller is currently a first year resident in Family Medicine at Medical University of South Carolina in Charleston, SC. A native of Knoxville, Tennessee, she completed her Bachelors’ Degree in Biochemistry at the University of Tennessee - Knoxville. She then participated in a year of public health work in Westchester County, New York working with middle schoolers on community gardening and cooking. She then returned to Tennessee for her medical degree at East Tennessee State University (ETSU) where she found a love for preventive medicine, women’s health, rural health, and health advocacy. She participated in a Rural Primary Care Track at ETSU and was heavily involved with national leadership with the American Academy of Family Physicians where she most recently served a the student member to the Board of Directors.
