Erica Goldstein, MD is a resident physician in the Department of Emergency Medicine at the University of Texas Health Science Center at Houston. She grew up in the suburbs of New York City and went to college at Tufts University, where she earned a BS in Engineering Science. She graduated medical school from NYU School of Medicine and earned a Master in Public Administration in Health Policy and Management from NYU Wagner School of Public Service.

Erica is passionate about developing global health partnerships and the exchange of best practices and has conducted projects in Ghana, Costa Rica, and Guatemala. She believes in the importance of sharing insight gained through patients with administration, policymakers, and other stakeholders. In the United States, she focuses on connecting patients to community services. For leisure, Erica enjoys traveling, learning about other cultures and perspectives, reading, writing, hiking, dancing, music, and theater.
