Diana Mora MD is an attending physician, core faculty and the Ultrasound Director in the Department of Emergency Medicine at North Florida Regional Medical Center, in Gainesville FL. She was born in Bogota, Colombia, but moved to the United States at the age of fifteen. She attended the University of Florida and was accepted to the Medical Honors Program, where she completed a 7-year B.S./M.D and met her now-husband in her first year of medical school. She completed her Emergency Medicine residency training and ultrasound fellowship at UF Health in Gainesville.

Diana is passionate about medical education, mentorship for her residents and uplifting women’s voices, especially those who are underrepresented in medicine, Her academic interests include management of difficult airways, medical student education and teaching how to incorporate point-of-care ultrasound into clinical practice. When she is not at work, you can catch her with her two kids either at the pool or beach, riding her peloton or playing with her Butterfly iQ postable ultrasound.
