Dr. Kate is board certified in Pediatrics and currently completing her subspecialty training in Neonatology. She has career aspirations to be a physician scientist with her own nanomedicine laboratory, and splits her time between clinical and research training. Her instagram @drkater focuses on her passions: educating about Neonatology, sharing life in medical training, promoting physician wellness, and mentorship for women in science. She is a founding member and executive board member of the Association for Healthcare Social Media. An advocate for women and children’s health, Dr. Kate has been an active member of the Junior League for many years, using her free time to give back to her surrounding community.
