Dr. Amanda Young received bachelors degrees in psychology and biology at the University of Arkansas before attending medical school at the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences.  She completed her residency in emergency medicine at the University of Florida Jacksonville as well as a fellowship in simulation education at Mayo Clinic Florida.  Dr. Young is currently an assistant professor of emergency medicine at the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences.  At UAMS, she is currently a full time clinical attending as well as the Director of EM Simulation Education at UAMS.  Her professional interests include resident education, curriculum development, and simulation.
