About
Student Doctor Claire Duican is a medical student at Texas Christian University (TCU) School of Medicine in Fort Worth, Texas. Growing up in Alabama, she relocated to Texas to pursue her dream of competing in an NCAA Division I swimming program. Throughout her collegiate swimming career, she was awarded Athlete of the Year (2020) and team Captain her senior year. In medical school, she holds executive board positions as Director of Community Outreach for both the OB/GYN and American Medical Women’s Association (AMWA) student interest groups. Her life’s passion is reproductive endocrinology and infertility, with her current research assessing time to conception following myomectomy procedure in patients desiring future fertility. Claire has dreamed of becoming a reproductive endocrinologist since she was 15 years old and plans to pursue an OBGYN residency following medical school.
