Fathima Keshia Suhail, MD completed her Internal Medicine Residency at SUNY Upstate Medical University in Syracuse, New York in 2021. She graduated and was awarded the David B. Duggan Award: Awarded to the graduating resident who is an outstanding leader, academician, and clinician, all the while passionate about life outside of medicine. She served as Chief Resident for the Department of Internal Medicine at SUNY Upstate and is currently a first year Gastroenterology fellow at SUNY Upstate. She is the co-founder of Women in Residency Life. Her interests include gender equity, community health, gardening, exploring and her dog Ziggy.
